We are the Episcopal Branch of the Jesus Movement in the mountains of Western North Carolina. We are a family of faith. We are the Saints of Messiah.
Bound together by love and grounded in Word and Sacrament, we take seriously our baptismal promise to seek and serve Christ in all persons.
We believe that God loves everyone, no exceptions, so we invite and affirm not only the presence but the leadership of all God’s children.
In imitation of our Savior’s immeasurable love, we Welcome, Nurture, and Send people of all identities.

The Church of the Messiah is a parish of the Diocese of Western North Carolina in the Episcopal Church, a member of the worldwide Anglican Communion.
